About

I’m a 26-year-old communications professional working at the intersection of political strategy, media relations, and issue advocacy.

I currently work at The Advance Group, where I help lead communications and earned media strategy for advocacy organizations and coalitions across New York. My work is focused on shaping press narratives and driving coverage that advances clients’ legislative and political priorities across housing, climate, and criminal justice. I work closely with organizations including Met Council on Housing and New York Communities for Change, using communications as a tool to help push their policy agendas forward, whether around tenant protections, affordability, or climate legislation. This includes proactive pitching, rapid response, and connecting reporters with tenants and organizers to ground policy debates in lived experience and build momentum around key legislative fights.

I also served as Deputy Campaign Manager on Keith Powers’ successful special election campaign for NY State Assembly District 74, supporting communications, policy development, and campaign operations, and helping execute the campaign’s overall strategy.

Previously, I worked at Metropolitan Public Strategies, where I supported campaigns focused on public transit, education, economic equity, and electoral politics. I helped drive Riders Alliance’s earned media strategy around congestion pricing and the successful push to build a center-running bus lane on Flatbush Avenue — securing coverage in both mainstream and community outlets, including a recurring El Diario column where riders from different subway and bus lines authored first-person pieces about their daily experiences. I also worked on the statewide Phone Free NY coalition, which successfully passed a bell-to-bell cell phone ban in public schools across the state, and built out the social media operation for Jewish Voters Unite, a grassroots initiative promoting Jewish civic engagement and voter participation. I also contributed to Andrew Cuomo’s 2025 mayoral campaign, I supported policy work, including drafting a proposal advocating for a $20 minimum wage in NYC that was later incorporated into the campaign platform.

I started my career at Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, where I spent two years developing and implementing communications strategies for a wide range of clients. On the advocacy side, I supported organizations including VoteRiders, Climate Power, Chicago Beyond, and Potential Energy Coalition. I also worked with clients across film, tech, and politics — including Oliver Stone (supporting his team at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival), Acorns, Raffi Krikorian, and a documentary about former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-Wen. I helped secure national coverage in outlets like the AP, NPR, Hollywood Reporter, USA Today, Huffington Post, NBC, and Newsweek. I also supported new business development by bringing in potential advocacy clients from my network.

Originally from the UK, I’ve been in the U.S. on and off since 2014, and have held comms roles at iHeart Radio, Democrats Abroad, and The Breakthrough Party (UK). I graduated from Boston University in 2022 with a degree in marketing communications and a minor in environmental analysis & policy.
